Nano is over! And hey, I won! I actually hit 50K on the 19th during the write-in in the NYPL. The book's not finished yet, but I made some incredible headway. I can get back to reading things now. Speaking of which, THE SPIRIT EATER. If you haven't read it, GO. GET IT. NOW. November 11th, 2010:
I hit 30k words in NaNo this past Monday. I'm incredibly far ahead right now, and it's a great feeling. So I fgured to celebrate, I'd put up an excerpt on this site. It's unbetaed, unedited, and really rough, but have it anyway. It's on the excerpts page. As always, you can read more at my writing journal.
November 1st, 2010:
Wow. I wrote over 5,000 words in the first three hours of NaNo. Needless to say, I'm excited. I took a break to upload two short stories to the drabbles page. For more steady nano updates, please see my writing journal or alternately, watch/add me at actionreaction on the nanowrimo.org site.
October 28th, 2010:
I'm well on my way with my NaNo prep. I updated my projects page, changing the title of one project, and adding a new one that I had the idea for last night. I won't be tackling it until after Oneiric Chronicles are done, but I have my notes. For more steady nano updates, please see my writing journal.

So uh, I'll be doing NaNoWriMo this year, and so I've added a few more links and the whole resources page. I may not be updating much for a while. Nano will eat my brain.

I've been adding a few more links steadily, but not too much more in the way of updates. I'm still working on getting the resources page up.

I went ahead and added the novel excerpts page, plus two excerpts, as well as the projects page. I added a few of my favorite links on the aptly titled links page, so next up is resources. At some point.

I uploaded all the poems I don't mind sharing. There won't be much more added to that page for a while; I'm not very prolific where it comes to poetry. I've also put up a drabble and an essay. More to come soon!

I'm revamping the hell out of my page again. I'm nixing nearly everything, and just making this a personal site about my writing. It's going to be a portfolio into my writing, a sort of unofficial-official page all about me and my writing. This will be a bit of a work in progress.
